Hadassah Interiors has always stood for beautiful design, thoughtful craftsmanship and furniture that feels personal. Founded in 2016 by Claudia Weyers, the studio continues to blend comfort, quality and individuality into pieces that bring warmth and meaning to every home.

As Weyers explains, “Furniture is not simply an item. It’s the soul of a room; a story told through craftsmanship and design.” Every piece the company produces reflects care, intention and artistry, blending comfort, quality and individuality to transform houses into homes.

Over the years, Hadassah Interiors has grown from its roots in fine leatherwork into a broader offering of luxurious fabric furniture. The company now provides a curated collection that celebrates texture, tone and refined detailing. Today, it proudly serves both residential and commercial clients, tailoring each design to meet the unique lifestyles, tastes, and aspirations of its customers.

But Hadassah has grown into more than a furniture brand. It is a place where people and potential are nurtured. Recognising the need for practical skills and real career pathways in the furniture industry, Claudia recently launched the Hadassah Training Academy – an initiative designed to empower young artisans with the skills to build a future in this craft. “We wanted to grow not only our brand, but the people behind it,” says Weyers.

“There is incredible potential in our sector, and we’re committed to equipping young people with real, employable skills.”

This new chapter has been strengthened by ongoing support from SAFI and its Administrator and Qualifications Manager, Lynn Adonis, who has provided mentorship and technical guidance throughout the accreditation process. “We are deeply grateful to SAFI for walking this road with us, and to Lynn for her expertise and encouragement,” Weyers adds.

Hadassah Interiors recently achieved a major milestone by completing its first QCTO site visit – an essential step toward becoming an accredited training facility. “This achievement marks the beginning of something bigger,” Weyers reflects. “It is about passing on knowledge, nurturing creativity and ensuring South African craftsmanship continues to shine for generations to come.”
